Hunt Club Opportunities
Looking for members for a small family-oriented hunt club located near Bethune SC in Kershaw County, which is under the QDMA program. The 450 acre club is under a long-term lease agreement with the landowners and is in its 2nd year. The property is located 50 miles Northeast of Columbia.
The land is mixed with hardwoods and pine and has natural browse such as persimmons, acorns, and grapes. There is a gas line opening, newly planted pines, open fallow fields, various stage clear-cuts, nasty thickets, open oak woods and most of the property is surrounded by older planted pines. Food is supplemented with a year-round food plot program with 6-8 food plots. The property has locked gates and is easily accessible with any 2wd vehicle. The land sits one mile between the Lynches and Little Lynches Rivers. (Click here for full size Aerial Map.)
Last year's selective harvest produced one buck (185# 11pt which made the SC record book) netting 129 B&C points. The adjoining property also produced a large 12 pt. buck. SC DNR biologists concur that this Sand hills region of SC produces some large bucks, although not great numbers of deer typical to some parts of SC's lowcountry area.
A set of rules will be furnished upon request. Dues are $700 per year and membership is limited to only 7 members. Hunt club membership includes deer, turkey, and small game (after deer season). Call or email for additional information or to schedule a visit.
